WLC India ( Delhi) is a greedy institution, interested only in the fees you pay them.
This is regarding the refund of appropriate amount to Mr. Saurabh Bhandari, Roll no. 2337, PGDBM course, October 2000 batch of “Wigan and Leigh College of India”, New Delhi.
Mr. Saurabh Bhandari had taken admission in the PGDBM course at Wigan and Leigh College (Office address-401-402, Skipper Corner, 88, Nehru Place, New Delhi-19) on 4/10/2000 (i.e. 4th of October, 2000).
After attending college for two weeks till 20/10/00 he had to return to Jodhpur (hometown) because of medical reasons. He underwent treatment for ten days and then rejoined the college on 30/10/00. But his allergic problems resurfaced as soon as he reached Delhi again. Due to these medical reasons, like Allergic asthma and Dermatitis, he was advised by the Doctor to leave the polluting environment of Delhi at the earliest. Therefore, after informing the college administration of the circumstances, Saurabh Bhandari quit the college finally on 2/11/00. Thus, he spent less than one month on their college rolls.

All the receipts are dated 4/10/2000. But till date, despite various reassurances by the college, not a single penny has been refunded to us.
Since then, innumerable phone calls, personal visits, Faxes and emails have been sent to the college administration by Mr. Rajendra singh Bhandari (my Father) and I for refund of due amount to us. The few people who have been contacted over the years (besides others) are

Ms. Malvika Sengupta.( phone number 011-6440404 at that time)- via personal visits, email, fax and phone
Ms. Rekha. - Personal visits and email.
The emails were sent to mail@wiganindia.org, enquiry@wiganindia.org, tec_orange@mantraonline.com. The email copies available with me are spread over December 2000 to May 2003 and even beyond, and personal visits right until January 2005.
During one of my numerous visits to their office, I was also assured of action in the matter and all the original documents were taken from me. I still posses all the copies and the original identity card issued to Saurabh Bhandari. Besides, I have also handed them copies of all relevant documents like receipts, emails, fax copies etc. at least half a dozen times over the years. The last time I handed over the copies to them was to Mr. Sunil (mobile number 09818088825) at Udaipur on 19/06/06. I still possess copies of a number of emails sent to them over the years.
Thus, Wigan and Leigh college of India is illegally and knowingly trying to dupe us of the money owed to us by them. Over the years, I have come across a number of consumer forum decisions wherein the educational institution have been ordered to refund the whole amount minus the administrative expenditure for the time spent on rolls , back to the student concerned.
Kindly assist us in getting our dues to us (along with interest for seven years) and also guide us as to the legal action we might have to take next for the same. We have been fighting for our rights for the past seven years but the institute is in no mood to refund any money which it has managed to extract from us.
Hope they see sense and refund my money now....
